Bountiful Valley Farm - Sketch 158

This is one of those layouts that would qualify for the show "No Longer There"!  While Disney's California Adventure is there, Bountiful Valley Farms is not.  It is so much fun to look at how much Arianna has grown.  This picture was taken back in 2006.

This layout is based on Sketch 158 at Let's Capture These Sketches.  Come play along!

Possibly . . . The Perfect One

I am not sure which is more Perfect, the pumpkin or the cute couple!!  I did this layout for Let's Capture These Sketches - The Sketch 154 Reveal!  Don't forget to play along.  I used a Halloween theme for the Its A Anything Halloween Challenge at For The Love of Art.  What do you think?

Sergeants's Course Graduation

This is a photo of Gino's graduation form Sergeant's Course in 29 Palms this past June.  I did this layout for the School Days Challenge at For The Love Of Art.  I used the new "Glory" Authentic paper line as well as some really old lil Davis chipboard.  I also used the October Sketch from Mothers of Boys here.

October Sketch Challenge - Paper Secrets

I did this layout while at the Scrapbook Expo in Ontario for the Paper Secrets October Sketch Challenge.  The pictures were of Arianna and Jillian on the 1st day of school.  6th Grade, already!  Where does the time go?

Let's Capture These Sketches - Sketch # 148

Every May, the girls school host a Grandparent's Day.  These are a few of the pictures from this year's celebration.

I used this week's sketch at Let's Capture These Sketches.  I would love for you to play along.

Sketch #146 Reveal!

We went to Knott's Berry Farm with Ryan, Darleen and the grandkids.  There is this truck ride called Rocky Road Trucking Company.  The adults can ride in the back and the kids drive the truck in the front.  They have these really annoying honking horns that the kids just love to honk.  UGH!!  The grandma, she didn't enjoy the horns so much, but the joy on the kids faces made it all worth while!

I used sketch number 146 as my inspiration at Let's Capture These Sketches.  Come play along, I would love to see what you create!

Sketch #144

Check out this picture of Anthony and Mandre Jr!  Jillian took it one day at Disneyland while they were waiting in line for Star Tours.  It was the perfect photo for this week's sketch at Let's Capture these Sketches!

Let's Capture These Sketches - #142

I love this picture of Michelle and Anthony.  We were down in San Diego, hanging with Gino and Bree, and we went to this pumpkin patch.  You know Anthony does not like to have his picture taken but this one is sooo cute!

So this layout was inspired by this week's sketch at Let's Capture These Sketches.

Come play along and link your layout here!

Mandre as Captain America page 2

So I decided that I needed to add more pictures to this event.  We needed to see Mandre's cute face underneath the mask!  I used the sketch provided at Artful Delight as my base inspiration.

Table-runner for Frannie

Last month I participated in the Quilt Run here in Southern California.  One of the stores had this really cute fabric all ready to become a table-runner and I thought it would make a great addition to Frannie's home.  It arrived yesterday and she loved it!  (Shh - don't tell her but it was super easy. I used a method called the 10 minute table-runner- Google it for yourself)
