Let's Capture These Sketches - #142

I love this picture of Michelle and Anthony.  We were down in San Diego, hanging with Gino and Bree, and we went to this pumpkin patch.  You know Anthony does not like to have his picture taken but this one is sooo cute!

So this layout was inspired by this week's sketch at Let's Capture These Sketches.

Mandre as Captain America page 2

So I decided that I needed to add more pictures to this event.  We needed to see Mandre's cute face underneath the mask!  I used the sketch provided at Artful Delight as my base inspiration.

Table-runner for Frannie

Last month I participated in the Quilt Run here in Southern California.  One of the stores had this really cute fabric all ready to become a table-runner and I thought it would make a great addition to Frannie's home.  It arrived yesterday and she loved it!  (Shh - don't tell her but it was super easy. I used a method called the 10 minute table-runner- Google it for yourself)

Mandre As Captain America

Mandre was Captain America this past year for Halloween.  Check out that stance!  Isn't he the cutest!!  And I found this Captain America paper and stickers and it made the perfect accents to my layout!  I also used a Cuttlebug folder to emboss stars on the red cardstock and I embossed dots on the little pendents at the top of the page.

I found this new site - Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits and they have sketch challenges throughout the month.  This layout was based on their July 6th Sketch.

Sketch 140 - Let's Capture These Sketches

Cousins - Together Again.  David recently got married and Gino was there supporting him.  I snapped this photo as they were waiting for the official photographer to get to the boys.  I love this photo of the two of them - Together Again!
And this is the sketch I used at Let's Capture These Sketches - Sketch 140.   I used the Lost & found Two Breeze Everywhere paper line along with some Prima chipboard letters and little LillyBee letters.  If you noticed the monochromatic -ness of the layout, it was for the My Minds Eye July challenge.  I love the way it came out!
