My Butter has Cancer

You can see the tumor on his spinal cord in this section of the MRI. The line in the middle is running through the tumor, that white spot kind of like a triangle is not supposed to be there. We are still awaiting a couple of tests to come back. We spoke to the oncologist today and with radiation, we are only looking at extending his life maybe a year. We have brought him home for now. They gave him the same pain meds Bailey is on. We go back next week for a follow-up. If he is not better, it will be time to say good bye. This is really hard for us right now. I thought that I had been preparing myself for what the vet would say today, but when you hear those words, it is not something you can prepare yourself for.
