So Saturday I met up with Kari at the Scrapbook Oasis in Irvine for a day of scrapbooking. I got three layouts completed
This first layout features pictures from just after Gino graduated from Boot Camp and was attending Weapons & Field Training.
We went down to Camp Pendleton for a visit.
This was a fun layout with Patrick and I jumping out of a cake in Cozumel!
Another fun layout of Patrick and I in front of our cruise ship!

That Puppy!
I have to tell you - that puppy is the cutest - but sometimes!!! This morning before work I was upstairs upstairs checking email before work. I had the chair in my room moved next to my craft table. Sarge was sitting in the chair. He glanced over at me, stood up on the arm of the chair and took my cell phone off my high craft table!! Then he jumped down ran to the door, turned to look at me and ran down the stairs! I had to go down the stairs after him. When I had gotten to where he was in the family room, he made sure I saw him then bolted out the doggy door to the back yard. Once I was outside, he ran under the small palm trees. Meanwhile I am running around the backyard after him in my bare feet and by this time my feet were freezing cold! I finally sat on the sidewalk and called to him. He came out from behind the trees – like what do you want to play now! I told him go get my cell phone. He looks at me. I tell him, Go Get My Cell Phone! He turns around, goes back to the bushes, rustles around and comes back out - without the cell phone! Ugh – I had to go into the palm tree bushes and get my phone – and it is thick and sticky back there! That boy needs puppy school!
But he sure is a cutie!
Happy Birthday Dad
Yesterday was my dad's birthday! We went out to dinner at the Claim Jumper and then we came back to the house for my mom's homemade coconut cake. Here is my dad with his new animal quilt!

Love is
In honor of Valentine's Day, I created this layout of me and my Pat. I used a sketch at letscapturethesesketches.blogspot.com for the beginning of my inspiration. The pictures were taken on cruise on a New England cruise in 2007. I used lots of Glimmer Mist on this layout and it is very shimmery!
Met Sergeant
This is Sergent. He is a Pug / Beagle mix. A man that has worked with Patrick called us on Sunday morning. His son was unable to keep the dog and asked if you would be able to give him a home.
He is used to sitting on the furniture, but that is a habit he will need to break.
Isn't he cute!
He loves to play and while Bailey is being a good sport, he isn't quite sure that he wants to share his friends (his toys).

Merry Christmas
I must be on a Basic Grey kick. 3 out of the last 4 layouts have been done with Basic Grey papers. This layout features the BG Fruitcake line. The presents are all Sizzix small dies. There is a shimmery gold pen outlining the letters, gold ribbon, a stamp here and there on the presents and cream fabric under all that as well. the beautiful subject of my layout is my granddaughter Rylee. The picture is from December 2007. The layout was inspired by a sketch at the Sketch Inspiration blog as well as a challenge at the Color Me Daisy forum.

Moments that are warm and special and giggly
Aren't these pictures of Amara just the cutest! I did this layout based on a sketch at Lotuspaperie.blogspot.com. Ok, so my layout only slightly resembles the sketch. The papers I used were Basic Grey Granola and Violet. The quote is from an Autumn Leaves Quote Unquote sticker sheet and the cute hot air balloon is a Unity Stamp!

Snow Day and Urban Anthology Challenge Blog Entry
I did this layout for a submission at the Urban Anthology Challenge Blog Weekend party! This was a Recipe Challenge to use a 4x6 picture, 4 different size circles, 1 ribbon, 1 brad and a title! I used a Bo Bunny download printed on a transparency for the You Melt my heart and Basic Grey papers from the Blitzen line. My 4th circle can be found in the middle of the o in You. I am not sure where the red pleated ribbon is from. I am pretty sure it came off a package at some point.
Model Material and Urban Anthology Challenge Blog Weekend
Don't you think my Arianna is Model Material? I put this layout together for the Urban Anthology Challenge Blog weekend kickoff this weekend. This layout features embossing, Cricket cutting, a really old mini kit from the Oasis and a beautiful girl . What is not apparent from this scan, is all the sparkle. The black damask on the left is really sparkly and I went around the chandelier on the right with a glitter pen. Be sure to check out some of the other challenges over at the Urban Anthology forum.
Puppy Bowl 2010
I know you have heard of the Super Bowl but have heard of the Puppy Bowl 2010? It is a show on Animal Planet and it was hilarious to watch. It is of course a parody of the Super Bowl.
Sir Winston was my favorite. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Hummm. I am so confused about what kind of dog I want to get. More research is needed.

Redondo Beach Photo Walk
This is a page kit that I picked up at the CHA SuperShow I attended a couple weeks back. And get this - it was a freebie from the kind people at EmbelishIt! I love the new Basic Grey Origins line they used.
The pictures are from July '09 when Kari, Eva, Heather (oh and our men too) and I attended the Scott Kelby Photowalk at the Redondo Beach Pier. The Photowalk was held at different venues worldwide. It was a great day just walking around snapping pictures! Eva discovered this really cool photo website called Picnick. The color action she applied to these pictures was called Cross Process. I think it added a very retro feel to the photos and really goes well with this line of papers!!

The Dino
He is my latest animal quilt. The Dino!! Isn't he just the cutest!! I need to run out to JoAnn's and get more dino material as I want to make another one! This is a great up-close picture so that you can see the texture to the quilt. This dino is looking for a home. Do you know anyone who might be interested in adopting him? His adoption fee is $100.
