Happy 9th Anniversary
We celebrated our 9th anniversary a couple months back. We went to Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine. The service was exceptional and they made our night special for us.This layout was inspried by a sketch at Inspired Blueprints and made from product using the June kit at Urban Anthology! Well, except for the little newspaper stamp. That is one of my CatsLife Press Stamps that I broke out today! it feels good to use product!!
Time with Dad
This is a layout with Mandre Jr and his daddy. The pictures were taken at Disney's California Advenure and the top one was taken at the Rain Forest Cafe. I even used one of my new Unity Stamps - which was one of my goals this weekend!

You should have reached my blog from the talented Miss Eva! (Please note: This is a progressive blog hop and my blog entry is number 7 of 8, so to start at the beginning, please click this link http://www.urban-anthology.com/blog)
My element to add to the project is patterned paper! Feel free to add your patterned paper in any fashion you would like to your project. You may wish to use patterned paper as your background, as a part of your mask, as something your have punched or even on your tag!
I have created a layout using entirely patterned paper for you to see. (I used the sketch posted at A Peek into Yesterday.com for this layout) These two cuties are my grandbabies. This picture was taken at my grandson's 1st birthday party. Aren't they just adorable!!
You now have 7 of the 8 elements!! For your final element to add, visit Pam’s blog here. Once you have you've gathered all eight elements, get creating, and don't forget to post your project in the Urban Anthology gallery by Sunday at Midnight Pacific Time for a chance to win the Urban Anthology Birthday Queen grand prize!
Just a couple of rules to remember:
1. To be eligible for the grand prize, layouts must include all 8 elements, one from each blog.
2. Layouts must be uploaded to the Urban Anthology gallery by Sunday, June 28th, Midnight Pacific Time.
Oh and as something fun, like the other ladies, I am giving away a $5.00 gift certificate to the Urban Anthology store. Just leave a comment in the comment section of my my blog answering this question - When you put candles on a birthday cake, do you load the cake with the age of the birthday person or do you just use one or two birthday number candles?

Mande @ 11 months
Another layout for Mandre's 1st year baby book. This time the sketch came from MixItUP Challenges. For this layout I used 5 stars, a chipboard one painted green then painted with blue Rangers Distress paint, a brown expoy star, a metal star, a paper one under the metal star, a glittered chipboard star, an epoxy star and a plastic button star. The background is green Eli Pooh paper and Making Memories Animal Cracker pattern paper. I also used the aqua vinyl Thickers, green felt Thickers and Leisure Arts letter stickers. Isn't my grandson the cutest!!
Mandre @ 12 months
Still scrapbooking today. I love using sketches and this sketch I found at A Peek into Yesterday. For this layout I used the Making Memories Animal Cracker papers and epoxy stickers, green felt Thickers, blue/green Cloud 9 Design puffy stickers, green Bazzil paper and turquoise Eli Pooh paper. The stamped image is from Cats Press. Visiting
Yesterday we drove out to visit with Bob and Chrystal (Pat's dad and step-mom). We celebrated Mother's Day and Father's Day all in one visit. Ryan, Darleen and Rylee joined us as well. We went to the Red Lobster (I had my new favorite dish there, the Peach Bourbon BBQ Shrimp and Bacon Wrapped Scallops - Yum.
It was fun watching Rylee interact with her great grandparents. What a fun day it was!
New Stamp Storage
In an effort to use my stamps more, I picked up this nifty stepped stamp rack for my Expedit (my wall unit). My thought process is that if I seem the stamps more, I am more likely to use them. No this isn't all I have, but these are the ones that were sitting in this space before the nifty stairs! Keep an eye on my upcoming pages to see if you notice any stamps on them!

Free Class on Photo Editing
Click HERE to get all the details on Jessica Sprague's FREE class on photo editing. How can you go wrong with a free class?Artistic Affaire Printemps
A few weeks back I attended the lovely Kim's Artistic Affaire Printemps! Kim puts on the most amazing events. They are now held in Los Angeles. From the venue, I could see the Hollywood sign! And as we were driving to the event - just down the down the street - the Paramount Studios! I tell you, I was in tourist heaven! Too bad I was the driver and couldn't enjoy the view around me more.
The 1st class up was Amy Powers sugarville Home Sweet Home wreath. This was a really fun class and I love the project!
Then we had a lovely lunch and launched into making a mosaic box. It is actually easier than one would think. We took a break to allow the glue to dry and had high tea. Then it was back to grouting. I might have a new calling! Maybe a mosaic in the entry way??
High tea was also the time that we exchanged our birdhouse swaps. This is the lovely birdhouse I received from Maija.A wonderful dinner and then we were back to business with Kristen Robinson. I havn't taken the time to finish this project, but I hope to finish it soon.
Kim always has the loft decorated just so over the top. It was truly like a staycation for the day. At the end of the evening, I won one of the centerpieces!! It was a wondeful day and I love all the projects we made!

Always Remember
Don't ask me why

Don't ask me why, but I am drawn to these dolls. Makes no sense, but aren't they cute. I think the only place you can find them is on the internet. Here is a website where you can find them. You can also find them on Ebay. People also make clothing and accessories to go with their dolls. Enjoy your Sunday!
